On Monday, September 11, 2023, the Sullivan's Boston office had the privilege of hosting the Israel Economic Mission to the USA’s “Israeli Technology Startups with Digital Innovation for Women’s Health” series. This multi-day delegation emphasizes Israel as a leader in Digital Health development highlighting innovative Israeli Fem-Tech companies. Specifically, the delegation featured companies pioneering the development of breakthrough diagnostic solutions, direct-to-consumer technologies, monitoring systems, and AI and data analytics platforms catering to women’s health needs.

Each company gave a five minute presentation about their product for potential investors to consider. They then had one-on-one meetings with investors to further discuss their innovation and financing status. Most of the companies are either in the Seed or Series A phases of financing. Each of these companies were incredibly inspiring for the future of women’s health. The companies were as follows: Feminai, IMMA Health, Lavaa Health, GYN Tools, MDI Health, Nevia Bio, Predicta Med and Shela Health.

After the presentations, we held a networking reception for all attendees, which was very well attended! New York attorney Eric Victorson, as well as the following Boston lawyers and staff were responsible for making the event a success: Lew Segall, Lou Monti, Amy Sheridan, Howard Berkenblit, Angela Gomes, Jerry Kazanjian, Rob Brace, Ojen Sirin, Tisha Blair, Heather Barry, Alec Chapman, Sean Francis and Jonathan Marmolejos. Sullivan is one of the few U.S. law firms with a presence in Israel and has worked extensively with life sciences and technology companies from Israel for the past 22 years.

Following the seminars, quite the crowd - Sullivan attorneys, presenters and other interested parties - gathered for a networking reception.
