Boston – Sullivan & Worcester partner Ashley Brooks, leader of the firm’s Real Estate practice group, has been named a 2023 "Go To" Lawyer for Commercial Real Estate by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

Each year, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly recognizes top commercial real estate lawyers from across the commonwealth. Honorees are regarded for their creative solutions and strong track record of successfully representing companies in significant cases or transactions. Well-versed in case law and statutes, each has garnered a reputation as a go-to lawyer for complex real estate matters.

“Ashley has been a creative and skillful leader ever since joining Sullivan in 2011,” said David Nagle, co-managing partner of the firm. “She is a trusted advisor to leading Boston-area developers, guiding them through complex and high-profile residential, mixed-use and life sciences projects throughout the region. She is also a 'go to' lawyer within our firm, serving on our Management Committee and actively leading our firm's growth and success. Ashley fully deserves this recognition.”

Brooks is the youngest practice group leader at Sullivan, as well as the first female leader of the Real Estate practice group. Previously she served as co-chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

She is also active in various professional and community organizations and is an alumna of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellowship Program. She is also a member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.

She provides pro bono legal representation and has served in various leadership roles for Heading Home, which provides emergency, transitional and permanent housing and support services to homeless families and individuals in Boston and the surrounding communities.

Brooks has received numerous awards, including most recently, Boston Magazine Top Lawyers in Real Estate in 2021 and 2022, Best Lawyers in America,® 2020-2023, and The Legal 500 U.S. (2016-2023).
