London, UK – Global law firm Sullivan & Worcester (Sullivan) has advised Bank ABC in London in relation to a $7.5 million loan to Brazilian firm Ocyan to finance the purchase of cutting-edge equipment from Scottish company Maritime Developments Ltd. The equipment will be used to remove subsea cables and pipelines from offshore oil and gas rigs in Brazilian waters.

The financing was guaranteed by UK Export Finance (UKEF) and is UKEF’s first ever transaction supporting overseas oil and gas decommissioning.

The Sullivan team was led by London Partner Mark Norris.
