Geoffrey Wynne joined a Trade Finance Roundtable hosted by the European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA) Disclosure and Transparency Committee on March 24, 2026.

The roundtable discussed the following:

  • The growing need for clearer reporting across supply chain finance, nonrecourse factoring, receivables structures and the need for clearer disclosure of fees and off-balance sheet activity.
  • Increased scrutiny of structural risks such as hidden leverage, liquidity dependence, legal enforceability and concerns about true-sale questions and around double or triple pledging.
  • The need for coordinated guidance with banks, rating agencies, accounting firms and law firms, as well as discussing best practices.
