Boston, MA – Sullivan & Worcester LLP announced today that Spencer Stone, a Boston-based partner in the Real Estate practice group, has been chosen as the firm’s 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow. The LCLD Fellows program is an intensive, year-long professional development program for attorneys identified as future leaders within their firm or organization and in the legal industry.

"Spencer’s professionalism, integrity and leadership made him our firm’s ideal candidate for the LCLD program," said Joel Carpenter, co-managing partner of Sullivan. "We are honored to have him represent Sullivan and look forward to his sharing all that he learns from the program."

The LCLD Fellows Program provides an instructional plan that includes in-person conferences, training in the fine points of legal practice and leadership, peer-group projects to foster collaboration and build relationships, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership, including the managing partners and general counsel. Sullivan has had participants in the program since 2013.

Named a partner in 2023, Spencer advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate. He represents owners, operators, equity investors and lenders in connection with commercial development, debt and equity financing, acquisitions and dispositions. He also represents clients in resolving complex title matters and disputes. He received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and his undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
