BOSTON, MA – Sullivan & Worcester is pleased to announce that associate Ryan Rosenblatt was selected as a New England Legal Awards “Rising Star.”

“I’m honored to be included among such a distinguished group of legal professionals. This recognition is a testament to the support of my colleagues and mentors. I look forward to building on this momentum and furthering my career, serving our clients with excellence,” said Rosenblatt.

The New England Legal Awards “Rising Star” designation honors the region’s most promising lawyers under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in their practice areas, made significant contributions to the legal profession and shown the potential to shape the future of the legal community.

“Ryan is an exceptional litigator whose talent, integrity and commitment to client advocacy sets him apart from his peers,” said David Nagle, Sullivan’s Managing Partner. “We are thrilled to see him recognized among New England’s most outstanding young attorneys.”

Rosenblatt is a litigation associate in Sullivan’s Boston office who has built a strong reputation for his leadership and skill managing contentious and high-stakes commercial litigation matters. He has taken matters to trial and played a key role on attorney teams across a broad range of complex commercial disputes.

His practice encompasses numerous types of litigation, including complex, commercial, land use, business and interpersonal torts, sports and bankruptcy. He has represented a variety of commercial and individual clients and has a successful track record of litigation wins in both state and federal courts, as well as in bankruptcy proceedings, AAA/JAMS Arbitration, mediations, proceedings before the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board and administrative proceedings before the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance.

In addition to managing his litigation practice, Rosenblatt has garnered recognition as a pro bono advocate in the Boston area. He is co-chair of the firm’s partnerships with the Victim Rights Law Center and the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP), two organizations dedicated to providing legal access to underserved residents. In this role, he mentors Sullivan associates and directs their work on various pro bono cases to help obtain restraining orders for sexual assault victims and to assist clients obtaining disputed unemployment benefits. Rosenblatt was recognized by VLP with its “Denis Maguire Pro Bono Award” for his dedication and commitment to pro bono.

He also dedicates significant time and energy to other Boston-area legal and civic efforts. Rosenblatt leads Sullivan’s team for “Walk to the Hill,” an annual campaign by the Boston area legal community to lobby the Massachusetts legislature for civil legal aid. In addition, he co-chairs the annual Greater Boston Legal Services associate fundraiser, which raised $750,000 earlier this year for civil legal aid services.

He is an active member of the Boston Bar Association, serving on the Business & Commercial Litigation Steering Committee and Senior Associates Executive Steering Committee, and was appointed as a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. In 2023, he won the ABA’s National “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. Ryan also volunteers on the NextGen Committee for Tina’s Wish, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting fundraising for research and early detection of ovarian cancer.
