2025 New York Standby & Guarantee Forum and 2025 New York Letters of Credit Law Summit
When: November 4-5, 2025
Location: New York, NY
People: Natalie S. Lederman and Geoffrey Wynne

Partners Geoffrey Wynne and Natalie Lederman participated in the 2025 New York Standby & Guarantee Forum and the 2025 New York Letters of Credit (LC) Law Summit which was hosted by IIBLP (Institute of International Banking Law & Practice) in New York on November 4 and November 5, respectively.

At the 2025 New York Standby & Guarantee Forum, Natalie was a panelist on the session titled "Case Closed: Lessons from SBLC Litigation," and Geoff participated in a discussion about "Understanding Capital Relief and True Participation."

The event brought together the global community of standby and demand guarantee experts, and examined the latest in treasury, working capital, and risk management; key SBLC litigation developments; and hands-on drafting for digital issuance and e-presentations.

The following day, Geoff participated in the session titled "True Sale or Secured Loan? Legal Risks in Supply Chain Finance (SCF)."

This event helped bankers and corporate letters of credit (LC) users further their knowledge of how legal issues impact LC practice today.
