Boston, MA – Sullivan & Worcester announced today that Angela Gomes, partner and leader of the firm's REITs Group, has been selected by the Women of Color Committee (WOCC) of the Women's Bar Association as a 2024 Honoree for the WOCC's Pioneering Women of Color Celebration. For years, the WOCC has hosted the Pioneering Women of Color Celebration to honor the accomplishments and contributions of trailblazing women of color attorneys in Massachusetts.

Angela was chosen as an honoree in recognition of her dedication to the advancement of women of color in the legal profession, her guidance of law students and future lawyers, and her support of the community through pro bono work.

To celebrate this accomplishment, Angela will be honored at an event on June 5, 2024, in Boston, where the recipient of the WOCC's Book Scholarship for Women of Color in law school will also be announced.
