Sullivan’s Washington, DC office opened in August of 1968. The late Jack Dudley opened the office when he left his position as Associate Director of the Division of Investment Management at the SEC. Sullivan was the first Boston firm to open a Washington, DC office.  Over the years, the office grew in a number of practice areas in addition to investment management, including, energy, pipelines, interstate commerce, patent and trademark, environmental, and regulated industries work. Today, the office is proud to continue the investment management practice begun in Washington 50 years ago. Many of our investment management client relationships are well into their third decade with the Firm. We are very gratified by this vote of confidence and proud also to be joined by our patent/trademark and regulated industries colleagues on K Street.
