Biography

Maxwell is an associate in the firm’s Tel Aviv office. His practice involves securities law, capital markets, and debt finance. Maxwell has considerable experience with debt restructuring matters, including receiverships and Chapter 11 bankruptcy. He has also litigated several complex securities issues, including liability under SEC Rule 10b-5.

Prior to joining the firm, Maxwell clerked for Chief Judge Peggy Hunt and Judge William Thurman of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah. He also worked as a civil litigator at a large law firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he worked on disputes involving securities, corporate ownership, and security interests. Maxwell has published articles through the American Bankruptcy Institute and has served as an executive editor on the Utah Law Review. During law school, Maxwell externed for Justice Paige Petersen of the Utah Supreme Court.
