Biography

Jonathan focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology related matters. His experience includes developing intellectual property portfolios of domestic and international patent applications in areas including life sciences and chemistry, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and semiconductor and medical devices. Jonathan also counsels clients through clearance studies and diligence reviews.

Sullivan & Worcester Adds Five Lawyer Team to Intellectual Property Practice
Boston, MA and New York, NY – International law firm Sullivan & Worcester announced today that a five-person Intellectual Property team has joined the firm. Partners Thomas Meyers and Zachary Hyde and associate Eleesya Cordes will work from the firm’s Boston office while associates Jonathan Wright and Sung Min Yoon will be in Sullivan’s New York City office. “Tom, Zack and their team are outstanding lawyers who bring enhanced depth to Sullivan’s IP practice, particularly as it aligns with the work we’re doing on behalf of clients in the life sciences and biotech industries," said David Nagle, Sullivan’s Managing Partner. “With this group, Sullivan is ideally positioned to meet the current and future needs of our clients in the life sciences sectors in the US, Israel and the EU. We’re really pleased to welcome our new colleagues to the firm.” Meyers was chair of the Life Science Industry Group and a member of the management committee at Brown Rudnick prior to his time at Withers Bergman. Earlier in his career, he was at Cooley LLP and, before that, served as general counsel to Helicos BioSciences Corporation. An industry thought leader with decades of experience, he has taught as an adjunct professor at both Suffolk University Law School and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His practice is specifically focused on securing and defending patents for clients in the technology and biotech, bioinformatics and pharmaceutical industries. Eleesya Cordes earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and attended the University of California-Davis for her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Jonathan Wright received his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and attended Grinnell College for his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. Sung Min Yoon received an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Biology from Stony Brook University.
