Re-Defining True Trade to Potentiate SME Lending
When: November 21, 2025
Location: London
People: Geoffrey Wynne

Sullivan partner Geoffrey Wynne, as the TF COP Regulatory Working Group Chair, delivered a Legal and Regulatory update on "Re-Defining True Trade to Potentiate SME Lending" during the first of a two-part session at TF COP 25 — the Trade Finance Conference of Parties — on "Innovative Regulatory Frameworks to Foster Increased SME Lending."

The summit took place on November 21, 2025, at Crown Agents Bank in London.

TF COP is a global public-private initiative coordinated by ITFA working to close the $2.5 trillion trade finance gap, with a mission to halve the gap by 2030 and eliminate it entirely by 2040. The annual TF COP Summit is designed to represent a true cross-section of the trade and export finance ecosystem — across geographies, sectors and roles. Participants engage in dynamic roundtable discussions, alongside select panels and presentations, to shape the agenda for the year ahead.
