Sharon’s practice focuses primarily on commercial leasing. She advises clients on all aspects of ground and space lease transactions, including lease negotiation, requests for proposals, letters of intent and brokerage agreements. She has experience across multiple asset classes, including office, medical, laboratory, retail, warehouse and hospitality. Sharon has also worked on deals in the commercial real estate development industry, and on leasing issues raised by corporate acquisitions and sales. Her clients include both landlord and tenant entities on a national basis.

  • Ongoing representation of landlords and tenants in connection with downtown and suburban office, retail and restaurant building lease transactions, including lease negotiations, creation of lease forms and negotiation of brokerage agreements
  • Representation of a national professional services firm in nationwide lease and sublease negotiations
  • Representation of a global financial institution relocating its New York headquarters to five floors in a prominent Manhattan office building
  • Representation of a developer in connection with a build-to-suit lease for a national coffee chain
  • Negotiation of a full-building lease of laboratory and office space in Boston in connection with a sale-leaseback transaction
  • Representation of a charter school in connection with lease negotiations
  • Represented a regional restaurant chain in lease negotiations
  • Represented developers in the acquisition and leasing of shopping centers of various sizes, ranging from small centers to power centers in excess of 600,000 square feet
  • Coordinated with local permitting counsel and civil engineers throughout the permitting and development process for new retail developments
  • Negotiations of leases in connection with asset sales and acquisitions
  • Represented developers in development and redevelopment across all asset classes
  • Represented preferred developer of sites for a national drug store chain in the acquisition and disposition of sites, development, lease negotiations, construction and permanent financing
