Bob has been involved in asset-based financing for more than 40 years. He has negotiated and documented domestic and cross-border leveraged lease, partnership and secured loan transactions, as well as synthetic leases. The assets have varied from aircraft, railcars, satellites, vessels and containers to electric generating plants, hydro-electric facilities, renewable energy facilities, gas distribution network and waste water collection and transportation systems. The current focus of Bob's practice is on energy and infrastructure financings.

- Represented SunGen Capital in financing a multi-state program for FHA PowerSaver home energy efficiency loans generated by AFC First Financial Corporation
- Represented a developer in the sale of its interest in an Idaho wind power project to an affiliate of the Macquarie Group
- Represented a financial advisor in the back-to-back sale of five solar facilities in Vermont
- Represented SunEdison in a variety of sale/leaseback financings of solar projects throughout the U.S. involving diverse financings entities, such as Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase and MetLife Capital
- Represented a finance subsidiary of a utility company, as equity investor, in connection with a sale/leaseback of a 250 MW natural gas-fired electric generating facility in New York and a 440 MW lignite-fired electric generating facility in Mississippi
- Represented a utility company, as lessee, in connection with sale/leasebacks of two coal-fired electric generating facilities in New York
- Represented a bank subsidiary, as equity investor, in connection with a sale/leaseback of a waste-to-energy incineration facility in Germany
- Represented a developer in the financing of a gas-to-liquid facility located in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
- Represented a provider of financing in the structuring and implementation of a financing by a major Northeast city-sponsored, non-profit organization that created a program to significantly reduce energy and water use and carbon dioxide emissions
