Luke's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including class action disputes, corporate arbitration, bankruptcy, criminal appeals, government investigations and white-collar defense. He has also assisted clients through internal and agency-based investigations, including civil actions involving the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Luke is active in Sullivan's various pro bono programs. He has assisted victims of domestic violence obtain abuse prevention orders by drafting and arguing motions in Massachusetts Superior Court. He also volunteers with the Boston Bar Association’s CORI Clinic, helping clients seal old criminal records. In conjunction with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, Luke has successfully appealed multiple denials of state unemployment benefits. Finally, Luke founded Sullivan’s collaborative partnership with the New England Innocence Project, through which he and a team of attorneys review criminal prosecutions to identify instances of wrongful conviction.
While at Boston College Law School, he was a staff writer and staff editor for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and an active member of the Latin American Law Students Association. Luke also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston where he assisted the Affirmative Civil Enforcement unit. Luke received his B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science from Williams College in 2012.
