Eric Rietveld concentrates his practice on tax planning and compliance for multinational corporations, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. He assists his clients in all matters of tax planning, with a focus on assisting clients with international exposure. Specifically, he has experience assisting clients with international tax planning, including issues related to intellectual property migration, foreign asset reporting, expatriation for individuals, and both inbound and outbound international tax issues for businesses.
Eric also has extensive experience in tax controversy matters and has represented clients with tax disputes before the IRS, state authorities, the US Tax Court, and Federal Courts. Recently, he has advised several clients on sales and use tax collection and filing obligations and exposure related to their national presence.
