Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid

Sullivan & Worcester participated in this year's Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid, which was held on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

The Walk to the Hill is one of the largest lobbying events at the State House each year and one of the most important for the Massachusetts legal community.

The Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC) funds legal services programs that offer advice and representation to low-income Massachusetts residents facing legal issues such as domestic violence, housing, income maintenance, health care, immigration, elder issues and more. These services are critical for individuals and families who face serious civil legal problems and may otherwise have to navigate the court system alone.
