The Perks and Pitfalls of Law Firm Partnership

Ojen Sirin discussed "The Perks and Pitfalls of Law Firm Partnership" at the Boston Bar Association's Recently Elected Partners forum on February 10, 2019. 

The Recently Elected Partners (REP) forum is designed to address the unique needs of lawyers who have transitioned into partnership within the past six years. The forum’s mission is twofold: to connect Boston’s new partners with tools and information to succeed in their new roles and to provide a networking resource among their peers. At the start of each year, the REP Forum hosts a panel of managing partners and law firm leaders to talk with recently elected partners about how to navigate their new role and manage increased expectations within the firm.

Panelists discussed ways new partners can create opportunities to meet professional goals, how to understand and contribute to the management model and business goals of the firm, how to handle internal relationships with associates and senior partners, and more.
