SMEs – Finding Finance For Growth in the New Reality

On May 7, 2021, Geoffrey Wynne participated in a virtual panel discussion, organized by the London Trade Roundtable, focusing on SMEs and the challenges of raising financing in the current environment. 

The session looked at some of the current challenges facing SME’s in raising finance, particularly those entities focusing their efforts on exporting from the UK. Panellists examined what support is available and how SMEs can make themselves more attractive to potential finance providers. The panel also assessed how the UK finally leaving the EU has affected the ability of smaller companies to raise finance and whether there are any silver linings around the black clouds of Covid, Brexit and a challenging economic environment.
