Thanks to the emergence of new products and the broadening appetite and capacity offered by private insurers, combined with the ongoing turbulent environment in the U.S. Export Credit Agency arena, lenders and exporters are being steered to alternative risk mitigation products. Geoff and his fellow panelists discussed the application, implementation and evolution of private insurance and other risk mitigation tools in terms of, risk sharing, capital relief, competitiveness and structuring.
