2019 is shaping up to be a watershed year for blockchain technology. The business and legal communities are awakening to the reality that blockchain technology will permeate many aspects of society, with game changing announcements from diverse players such as JP Morgan, Facebook, Fidelity, Visa, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Walmart, Bakkt, U.S. state and foreign governments, and countless others. This new technology is focusing legislators, regulators, and courts to evaluate established laws and regulations.

The Symposium drew upon the collective wisdom and experience of academics, legal practitioners, judges and business leaders to address various regulatory challenges posed by this rapidly developing field.
