Sullivan Partner Nicole Crum Named Mutual Funds Rising Star By Fund Action and Fund Directions
Boston, April 18, 2018 – International law firm Sullivan is pleased to announce that Washington, DC-based Investment Management partner Nicole Crum has been named a “Rising Star” in the mutual fund industry by leading trade publications Fund Action and Fund Directions. Crum also heads the firm’s Corporate Governance and Board Advisory practice group.

Rising Stars is a highly coveted recognition of industry up-and-comers identified by Fund Action and Fund Directions based on leadership, client service, and contributions to the mutual fund industry, among other criteria. An awards dinner to salute the Rising Stars was held at Cipriani in New York City on April 12.

Crum’s client work focuses on representing fund boards and independent directors, as well as investment advisers and broker-dealers. In 2017 she was named inaugural chair of Sullivan’s Board Advisory and Corporate Governance practice, leveraging firm-wide resources in representing mutual fund, private fund and operating company boards.
A noted leader within the firm, Crum is the firm-wide chair of the Women’s Initiative and serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee and Lateral Partner Hiring Committee. She is an advocate for the advancement of women in the legal profession; in 2017 she was named a Legal Council for Legal Diversity Fellow (LCLD).
Crum earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, her J.D. from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an LLM in international law from University of London.
