Sullivan & Worcester Expands NYC Capital Markets Team with Addition of Partner Aaron M. Schleicher
New York, NY and Boston, MA – International law firm Sullivan & Worcester announced that Aaron M. Schleicher has joined the firm in New York City as a partner in the firm’s Capital Markets practice group. Aaron represents issuers, investment banks and private equity firms in a wide array of capital-raising transactions, with a particular focus on initial public and follow-on primary and secondary equity offerings. He also advises clients on general corporate, governance and securities law matters, including complex SEC financial reporting and disclosure issues.
Clients turn to Aaron for his ability to manage highly complex transactions in a pragmatic, cost-efficient manner. He regularly serves as trusted advisor in “mission critical” financings, having helped clients raise billions in capital. “Joining Sullivan is an exciting opportunity to pursue new challenges,” Schleicher said. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of Sullivan’s already outstanding, results-oriented practice.”
Prior to joining Sullivan, Aaron was a partner in the capital markets group at Kirkland & Ellis in New York. He also brings previous in-house experience, having served in the corporate secretary department at an S&P 500 technology firm with global operations.
“Aaron is an extremely talented lawyer whose capital markets, corporate governance and SEC compliance experience will offer significant value to Sullivan’s clients,” said David Danovitch, co-director of Sullivan’s Corporate Department. “We are very pleased to have him join the team and his unique experience helps solidify our expanding NY presence and adds an important dimension to the service of our clients.”
Schleicher, who is admitted in New York and in Texas, received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School. He earned his B.A. from Bates College.
