Sullivan Partner Mark Norris Re-Appointed Deputy Chair of the British Exporters Association
London, UK – International law firm Sullivan & Worcester is pleased to announce that London Trade and Export Finance partner Mark Norris has been re-elected Deputy Chair of the British Exporters Association (BExA). As Deputy Chair Mark also sits on BExA’s Executive Committee. At the same time, Carl Hunter of Coltraco was elected Chair of the Association. As Deputy Chair Mark also sits on BExA’s Executive Committee.
BExA is an independent national trade association representing the interests of the export community, working as a lobbying, promoting, educating and networking organisation for UK exporters in both the goods and services sectors and as their associated services provider. Membership of BExA is drawn from across the UK’s exporting community. The association seeks to promote the interests of its members and all UK exporters, with a particular focus on trade finance and export credit insurance.
Mark Norris commented: “I am delighted to be re-elected Deputy Chair of BExA. Whilst this is a particularly challenging time for exporters both nationally and globally, I am very much looking forward to working with Carl and all our stakeholders to ensure that UK exporters are able to navigate the challenges ahead and to boost their position globally”.
Mark's practice at Sullivan covers cross border export credit finance, structured trade and commodity finance, debt restructurings, and asset finance. He also advises on regulatory, modern slavery, bribery and corruption and criminal finance issues in connection with trade and export finance. Most recently Mark has been working with clients in relation to healthcare and infrastructure projects across Sub-Saharan Africa.
