The article discusses the ways in which the fast passage of the 2017 tax overhaul, often with limited legislative discussion, has caused many regulatory disputes to arise. According to Irina, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 itself may not necessarily have been rushed, but the regulations were. As a result, disputes are likely: "If you create hundreds and hundreds of pages of guidance on a new complicated provision … you potentially could have a lot of challenges."
