Nicole M. Crum Named 2017 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity
Washington, DC – February 15, 2017 – Sullivan is pleased to announce that Investment Management Partner Nicole Crum has been selected as a 2017 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). This landmark fellowship program created by the LCLD aims to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Last year, Real Estate Partner, Ashley Brooks, was selected as a Fellow.
“Nicole is a perfect fit for the LCLD Fellows Program,” said Managing Partner, Joel R. Carpenter. “She is a strong contributor to our firm’s diversity initiatives, and she embodies the firm’s core values in her commitment to her clients and her community.”
According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”
Crum, who is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office and counsels mutual funds and their independent directors, as well as broker-dealers and investment advisers, said “I am thrilled to become a part of the LCLD community. This opportunity is very exciting for me because I am committed to building diversity and community in the legal profession and helping to develop best practices at Sullivan.”
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 240 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD Fellows program, which has trained more than 800 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives. For information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
