Nicholas O'Donnell was quoted in the article, "Looted: A Saga of Nazi-Stolen Art," published in the Summer 2021 issue of Boston College Law School Magazine.

The article focuses on Nick's involvement in Germany v. Phillip, a case he argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in December 2020 as lead counsel to plaintiffs seeking restitution of the Guelph Treasure, a collection of medieval Christian relics sold under duress by Jewish art dealers in 1935 to the Prussian government. The article provides background on Nazi-looted art in the 1930s and offers a glimpse at the complex challenges of property theft litigation amidst interpretations of international law.
