July 10, 2019

Students and faculty instructors from the Boston University School of Law's Graduate Tax Program, along with Jay Darby from Sullivan, submitted a comments letter to the Internal Revenue Service regarding Opportunity Zones. The letter included comments and recommended suggestions on how the Second Guidance can be best implemented in order to achieve the important policy objectives of the Opportunity Zone tax incentives.

The students are participating in a full semester course on the Opportunity Zone tax incentives, believed to be the first graduate-level tax course in the United States to address these tax incentives.
