I.D. Systems buys Israeli telematics co Pointer for $140m

ZAG/Sullivan acted as US and Israeli counsel to Pointer Telocation Ltd., in the transaction for its sale valued at $140 million in cash and stocks.

Pointer Telocation is traded on the NASDAQ and TASE and is a leading provider of innovative telematics and mobile IoT solutions to the automotive, insurance and logistics (cargo, assets and containers) industries.

The ZAG/Sullivan team was led by Shy Baranov and included, among others, Howard Berkenblit, Scott Kaufman, Ed Miller, Doug Stransky, Boaz Feinberg and Matt Rudolph.
