Ashley Brooks Receives 2019 Excellence Award in Real Estate Law
Boston--Ashley Brooks, a partner and co-leader of Sullivan & Worcester’s Real Estate practice group, received the "2019 Excellence Award in Commercial Real Estate" by Boston Real Estate Times, one of New England’s largest real estate publications.
The winners "represent the best of the best in commercial real estate," said Upendra Mishra, publisher of Boston Real Estate Times, whose digital daily news reaches more than 13,500 real estate professionals throughout New England.
"Ashley’s commitment to the Boston commercial real estate industry is truly impressive, as is her reputation within it," said Joel Carpenter, managing partner of Sullivan. "She engages with the community, her colleagues and her clients with equal zeal, and brings a genuine passion to all her endeavors."
In 2018, Ashley was selected to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2018 "Top Women of Law." Her practice focuses on all aspects of transactional commercial real estate law, including debt financing, equity investment, development, acquisitions and dispositions representing institutions and public and private companies across all asset classes. She is a trustee of Lawrence Model Lodging House Trust and a co-leader of Sullivan’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Ashley is also an alumna of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellowship Program. The landmark program created by the LCLD aims to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
The individuals and companies selected for this award were honored on Aug. 6 at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.
