Angela Gomes Named a 'Most Influential Black Lawyer’ by Savoy Magazine
Boston, MA – Sullivan & Worcester is pleased to announce that Boston-based partner Angela Gomes has been named to the “Savoy 2022 Most Influential Black Lawyers” list of honorees. Savoy magazine, the leading African American business magazine, annually recognizes exceptional legal achievements and leadership by Black lawyers who are partners at national law firms or corporate counsel of global corporations. Prior honorees include Eric Holder, Jr., former Attorney General of the United States; Dennis Archer, the first Black president of the American Bar Association; and Jeh Charles Johnson, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.

Angela is co-leader of the Sullivan & Worcester REIT practice group where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, in addition to handling general corporate matters. She is also co-chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. In 2017, she was named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Top Women of Law, and in 2015 she was named one of Ten Outstanding Young Leaders by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. She earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University.
