10 Women...Leading the '40 Act Legal Space

Nicole Crum was featured in the article "10 Women...Leading the '40 Act Legal Space," which was published by Fund Board Views [sub. req] on March 8, 2022.

The article, published in celebration of International Women's Day, highlights women who "represent and counsel mutual fund boards (as well as advisers and funds) and know the '40 Act inside and out. And in their senior roles, they set an example for the girls and women coming up behind them—often times, taking on the formal role of mentor." Selections were based on input from independent directors, who described the lawyers they mentioned as "supportive to other women and especially focused on developing younger female lawyers, smart, interesting, knowledgeable, diplomatic, collaborative, able to explain what the board needs to know and do, personable, funny, [and] proactive."
