We are seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join our expanding Capital Markets Group in New York. The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of experience handling substantive components of a securities transaction including initial public offerings, follow-on public offerings, PIPE transactions and/or SPAC offerings. Additional experience advising pre-IPO and public companies on compliance, governance and securities filings, including 34 Act filings, is preferred. The candidate must have demonstrated transaction and experience working with exchange listed companies, representation of underwriters and issuers, strong interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be detail-oriented and self-motivated. Associate Position, Corporate — Boston, MA or New York, NY

The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience handling substantive matters in all aspects of the formation and operation of private equity, private credit, real estate, and similar private funds. Experience drafting fund-related documentation, including partnership and operating agreements, PPMs, and subscription documents required.  The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be detail-oriented and self-motivated. Associate/Counsel Position, Permitting & Land Use — Boston, MA

We are looking to hire an experienced permitting and land-use attorney with three to ten years of experience in Massachusetts. The right candidate will have at least three years of experience practicing before local zoning boards throughout Massachusetts, a solid understanding of M.G.L. c. 40A, and experience working on large-scale, complex projects. The ideal candidate will have more than three years of experience and will have experience beyond local zoning including other common local land-use regulations – e.g. wetlands and roadways – as well as state permits and approvals, including MEPA, DOT, and DEP. Preference is for an attorney who also has experience working on large-scale projects in Boston, Cambridge, and/or Somerville, and also for an attorney with experience resolving complex land-use issues in relation to title and easements. The candidate must be an excellent writer, be comfortable advocating at public meetings and hearings, and must be a hard worker.

We will consider a candidate in the greater New England area if they have more than seven years of permitting and land-use experience including local, state, and federal regulations and approvals.

The candidate will join a busy and rapidly growing permitting and land-use group that specializes in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville and represents large clients on projects generally ranging from 200,000 square feet to 2 million square feet.

Associate and Counsel Position, Real Estate Group — Boston, MA

Sullivan & Worcester's Real Estate Group is engaged in every aspect of the commercial real estate industry, including: acquisitions and dispositions, development, finance, leasing, zoning and environmental compliance and permitting, workouts and REITs. We represent a broad spectrum of clients, including owners, developers, investors, lenders and tenants in projects of all sizes.

We are seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our Real Estate Group. The ideal candidate will have general experience in real estate transactions including finance (construction and term), acquisitions/dispositions and diligence (title/survey). Strong joint venture experience is required.

We are also seeking a Counsel level candidate with 8+ years of experience with title and survey expertise. Former title company commercial underwriting experience is a plus.

Both candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, work well in a team, be detail-oriented and be self-motivated.
